Zambian Regional Youth Special Olympic Games

I unfortunately don't have a good picture of the day, but through Sport in Action we were able to volunteer at the Olympic Youth Development Center today. We helped corral, keep time, hang out and score at the event. Lilly and I got to stand front and center during the opening ceremony and the passing of the Olympic torch.

Afterwards, there was a bit of a lull in our activities, so I got to scrimmage with some kids. In the afternoon, along with the other football coaches Lizzie, Dom, Brett, Tom and Elliott, we had the opportunity to help select the team representing Zambia in the 2019 Youth Special Olympics in Abu Dhabi.
