Back to Lusaka

Happy birthday to Mollie and me! Mollie turned 21 and I turned 19.

This morning was our last morning in Kazemba. We stayed up all night (until 10pm) watching the stars. You could see the whole milky way, lots of shooting stars, a couple planets, multiple constellations and loads of satellites. I thought St Andrews had loads of stars; Chongwe but my midnight walks to the castle to shame.

The roosters and the gong went off at half two, four and six in the morning like clockwork. As annoying as they were, they will be missed.

We packed up and hung outside the school for a little while before we were picked up in the land cruiser to make our way back to Lusaka. The two pictures were taken within seconds of each other. The one on the right is an accurate representation of our bus rides in Zambia.
