In the mornings we had the opportunity to teach classes and assist teachers with their courses. I helped out with the third grade. One day we learned the difference between the use of "are" and "is". Another day, Lilly, Amy and I taught the children about energy and good conductors of heat.

Each grade followed different syllabuses, so first grade was learning to read, write and count in Nyanja and English. Grade six and seven were learning how to use Excel and technology. Grades eight and nine focused on their impending exams and their agriculture classes.
