I taught the sixth grade teacher Sarah and her class how to cook pancakes, omelets, scrambled eggs and arancini this morning. In return, they showed us how to make sampa, a maize and ground nut butter delicacy. Sarah also had her neighbor come over to show us how to make fritters, a street food that the whole group enjoyed. I couldn't eat them, as they were a more savory type of doughnut, but they smelled delicious.
